About
Sander Hoefnagels is a photographer known as Sander’s from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. During his travel through Africa in 2001, he became passionate about wildlife and nature photography. He was inspired by the photography work of Mitsuaki Iwago, Steve Bloom, Frans Lanting but also David Yarrow and Anton Corbijn. Over the years he has finetuned his ‘eye’ as well his technique and gained experience. Predators and other impressive animals have his special interest. Now he travels across the world’s remote areas to photograph endangered and impressive animals.
Sander’s has developed an ‘up-close & personal’-style in black & white, which shows the animal in a way which unveils something of the soul and character in the raw beauty of nature, as rarely seen before. Generally, the aim is to achieve a deeper emotional connection and more viewer engagement in each of the unique photos.
Sander is extremely selective in showcasing his work, as he only wants to show his very best photo’s. This way he keeps consistency in high quality of work, as one would expect in fine art photography. His photo’s are highly exclusive and only available in limited edition in large and extra large sizes.
All photo’s are signed, printed on highest quality paper with very best print technology and come either framed - in handmade premium wooden frame with linen liner, protected by museum glass - or unframed.
Sander’s Photography uses Nikon.
